I am from El Paso, TX and have lived in Colorado for the past thirteen years. I am a nontraditional student and a mother of two boys. I am passionate about teaching art as a healthy and creative outlet for expression, identity, and fun! I love to sing and cook Mexican food with my family. We are a nerdy family and are into Marvel and Star Wars. I love to travel and  visit archaeological sites.  I love my Mexican American heritage, being bi-cultural and bilingual.
