My background in lactation support are often reflected in my work. It is a part of who I am no matter how many years I've been away from the field. Breastfeeding left a mark in my life beyond just breastfeeding my own children. It was my daily conversation, my job, my way of connecting and caring for mothers, friends, colleagues. It made me a part of women's journeys, their vulnerability, their struggles and victories as moms. It only made sense for my signet ring to stamp a breast.
